Over in missbscpageant we're in round 4 of the Best Mystery Poll. Currently, Mystery 22 is winning in its match-up. This confuses me no end. I'm not saying the book sucks (far from it), but compared with #21, it's nowhere near as strong. Who else has read any of the Main Street series? What did you think of it?

I just finished Needle and Thread (the library didn't have Welcome to Camden Falls, so I had to start with book 2... interestingly enough, the first BSC book I ever read was Claudia and the Phantom Phone Calls) ( and... (spoilers?) )

Does anyone here remember "Girl Talk"? It was a series by someone named L.E. Blair that was somewhat similar to BSC only without the babysitting (although I think they babysat in one book), all the covers were pink, and every book had about 3-4 pages of annoying "Phone Talk" which read like a transcription of telephone calls - one of the strangest ( Read more... )
